Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Clerk to join our team in St. Paul, Minnesota. This role requires an individual who is detail-oriented and experienced in managing payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting payroll operations and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Accurately process payroll using ADP Workforce Now and ensure all data is handled confidentially
  • Collect, verify, and maintain employee information and pay-period records
  • Assist in benefits administration and address timekeeping discrepancies
  • Update payroll records to reflect employee changes, including hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations
  • Maintain employee files, tax documents, and payroll transaction records with precision
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal regulations
  • Generate payroll-related reports, ensure data integrity, and support standardized reporting efforts
  • Collaborate with the Payroll Supervisor on special projects and contribute to process improvement initiatives
  • Work both independently and as part of a team to achieve payroll objectives

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in payroll processing, including full-cycle payroll and multi-state payroll
  • Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now and familiarity with payroll systems
  • Strong knowledge of payroll-related topics such as garnishments and benefits
  • Ability to reconcile payroll and ensure data accuracy
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of payroll compliance and regulations
  • Effective communication skills for addressing payroll inquiries and collaborating with team members
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
