Payroll Clerk

• Process employee payroll by calculating hours worked, salaries, bonuses, commissions, and other compensation adjustments
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations by accurately calculating and withholding taxes
• Handle payroll-related deductions, including garnishments, adjustments, and worker's compensation payments
• Collaborate with the Payroll Manager or Supervisor to address discrepancies and implement efficient payroll procedures
• Prepare and maintain accurate payroll records using templates and automated systems
• Manage expense reporting and ensure timely reimbursement for employees
• Utilize Automated Clearing House (ACH) systems for efficient disbursement of payroll funds
• Assist in maintaining salary structures and bonus program frameworks
• Support audits and reviews by providing detailed payroll data and documentation
• Address employee inquiries related to payroll, deductions, and adjustments in a precise and timely manner
