We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join a team in Maryland in a contract-to-permanent position. Job Responsibility
Process payroll accurately and on schedule for a workforce of up to 500 employees while helping ensure timely employee compensation
Maintain payroll files, employee records, and supporting documentation with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality
Enter, review, and update payroll data in ADP Workforce Now and related systems to keep information current and reliable
Respond to employee payroll questions promptly and assist with resolving discrepancies, deductions, and payment concerns
Partner with human resources and finance teams to verify payroll information and support compliance with company policies and procedures
Reconcile payroll details, review reports, and identify errors before final submission to reduce processing issues
Use Microsoft Excel to organize payroll data, track changes, and support routine reporting needs
Requirements
At least 2 years of payroll or payroll support experience in an office environment that requires strong attention to detail
Experience handling full-cycle payroll processing for employee populations ranging from 101 to 500 employees
Working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now and payroll data entry best practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reviewing, organizing, and validating payroll information
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage sensitive information accurately and confidentially
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
High school diploma or equivalent required
Availability to work on-site in Hunt Valley, Maryland, Monday through Friday, with standard 8-hour shifts
