Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team in Princeton, New Jersey. This role is ideal for someone with experience in payroll processing and human resources support who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring accurate payroll management while providing administrative assistance to the HR department.

Job Responsibility

  • Process biweekly payroll with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring all employee data is correctly maintained
  • Manage daily administrative tasks related to manual payroll operations
  • Assist the Human Resources department in handling employee benefits and record maintenance
  • Support recruitment activities by coordinating schedules and maintaining applicant records
  • Provide clerical support for HR communications and employee-related inquiries
  • Maintain compliance with relevant payroll and HR regulations
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports and documentation as needed
  • Collaborate with team members to address payroll discrepancies and resolve issues
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of employee information
  • Contribute to process improvements within payroll and HR functions

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing
  • Familiarity with human resources administration, including benefits and record maintenance
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and adapt to changing priorities
