We are looking for a Payroll Clerk to support accurate and timely payroll operations for a workforce of approximately 101 to 500 employees. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience managing full-cycle payroll and resolving payroll-related issues with precision and professionalism. The right candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, maintaining compliance, and ensuring employees are paid correctly and on schedule.
Job Responsibility:
Administer end-to-end payroll processing for employees while verifying hours, earnings, deductions, and tax-related information
Review payroll data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies before each payroll cycle is finalized
Manage employee payroll records and update changes related to pay rates, deductions, benefits, and other compensation details
Process wage garnishments and other required withholdings in accordance with applicable regulations and court orders
Use ADP Workforce Now to enter, maintain, and audit payroll information and support routine payroll activities
Respond to payroll questions from employees and internal stakeholders in a timely and thorough manner
Prepare payroll reports and supporting documentation for review, reconciliation, and compliance purposes
Assist with payroll-related audits and help ensure adherence to company policies and applicable payroll regulations
Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience in payroll administration or a closely related payroll support role
Practical experience handling full-cycle payroll for an employee population of 101 to 500 workers
Working knowledge of payroll deductions, tax withholdings, and garnishment processing
Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now and general payroll system navigation
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct payroll errors efficiently
Ability to manage sensitive employee information with discretion and confidentiality
Effective organizational and communication skills to support deadlines and payroll inquiries
