We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Irvine, California. In this role, you will be responsible for handling payroll processes accurately and efficiently for a mid-sized company. This position is ideal for someone experienced in managing payroll operations, including garnishments and full-cycle payroll.
Job Responsibility:
Process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Manage full-cycle payroll operations, including data entry and reconciliation
Handle garnishment calculations and ensure compliance with legal requirements
Generate payroll reports and provide insights to management as needed
Stay updated on changes to payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance
Requirements:
Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably for a company with 101-500 employees
Bilingual English/Spanish required
Familiarity with full-cycle payroll operations and related software
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling payroll data
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines effectively
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly
Understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices
Proficiency in payroll software and general computer applications
