We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Clerk to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee. In this Contract to permanent position, you will be responsible for managing payroll operations and supporting administrative tasks in a detail oriented office setting. The role requires precision, confidentiality, and strong organizational skills.
Job Responsibility:
Input payroll data accurately using QuickBooks and Paychex systems
Extract employee time records from QuickBooks and transfer them into Paychex for payroll processing
Collaborate with managers to ensure accurate entry of employee time data in QuickBooks
Maintain compliance with payroll policies while managing sensitive employee information
Assist with a variety of administrative tasks to support office operations
Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing for approximately 90–95 employees
Uphold detail oriented standards in communication and workflow practices
Address and resolve payroll discrepancies effectively
Provide operational support as needed to align with company goals
Requirements:
Demonstrated proficiency with QuickBooks software
Familiarity with Paychex systems is preferred
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
Ability to maintain confidentiality while working with sensitive information
Strong organizational and time management skills
Experience in payroll processing or similar administrative roles
Clear and effective communication skills
Ability to work fully onsite Monday–Friday, adhering to a dress code suitable for a detail-oriented environment
