Job Responsibility
Process weekly, biweekly, or semi-monthly payroll for hourly and salaried employees
Review timecards for accuracy, including overtime, PTO, and adjustments
Maintain employee payroll records, including direct deposit and tax withholdings
Calculate wages, bonuses, deductions, and garnishments
Ensure compliance with payroll laws and internal policies
Assist with payroll tax filings and W-2/1099 preparation
Reconcile payroll reports and support general ledger postings
Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies
Support audits and maintain documentation for compliance
Collaborate with HR and accounting on employee changes and reporting
Requirements
1–3+ years of payroll, accounting, or administrative experience
Basic understanding of payroll processes, taxes, and wage laws
Experience with payroll systems (ADP, Paychex, Workday, UKG, etc.)
