Job Description:

Our client, a manufacturer in the precision materials industry, is seeking a part-time Payroll & Bookkeeping Specialist to support payroll processing and assist with basic accounting functions. This temporary role offers flexibility with hours and the opportunity to contribute to both payroll administration and general ledger support. This role focuses on processing payroll, ensuring compliance, and assisting with related financial reporting. Some general bookkeeping tasks may also be included.

Job Responsibility:

  • Process weekly and biweekly payroll using ADP Workforce Now
  • Manage payroll data entry, updates, and reporting
  • Ensure payroll tax calculations and compliance with applicable regulations
  • Assist with employee onboarding/offboarding in payroll systems
  • Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies
  • Support basic bookkeeping tasks, including general ledger activity
  • Collaborate with HR and Accounting on cross-functional tasks
  • Assist with month-end reporting as needed

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of payroll experience required
  • Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now is a must
