Payroll & Benefits Specialist

• Administer biweekly payroll in coordination with the Finance department
• Ensure compliance with federal and state wage and hour laws
• Manage benefit enrollments and serve as a resource for employee benefits questions
• Maintain and secure personnel files and HR system data
• Prepare internal reports and support HR leadership with board-level reporting
• Evaluate compensation and performance evaluation programs
• Deliver employee education and training as needed

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR, Payroll or Benefits Administration
• Familiarity with benefits administration processes and systems
• Prior experience managing payroll for 500+ employees
• A degree in Human Resources or a related discipline is preferred
• Candidates with a combination of relevant education and practical experience will also be considered
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Effective communication skills to address employee inquiries and provide clear guidance

Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or UKG
