Our client is seeking a Payroll/Benefits Manager to own the entire payroll and benefits function for their 30-person organization. This is a long-term contract role where you’ll take charge, streamline processes, and ensure a seamless experience for employees.
Job Responsibility:
Process monthly payroll accurately and on time
Manage benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and open enrollment
Serve as the go-to resource for payroll and benefits questions
Ensure compliance with all payroll and benefits regulations
Partner with HR and Finance to improve workflows and data accuracy
Prepare reports and support year-end activities
Requirements:
Proven experience managing full-cycle payroll operations for large, multi-state organizations
Strong proficiency in Paylocity and other payroll systems
In-depth knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and compliance standards
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to handle complex payroll scenarios
Ability to communicate effectively with employees and cross-functional teams
Experience with payroll audits and reconciliations
Familiarity with developing and documenting payroll policies and procedures
