Job Description:

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Benefits Manager to join their growing Human Resources team. In this role, you will oversee payroll processing, benefits administration, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee biweekly and monthly payroll processing, ensuring timeliness and accuracy
  • Manage employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and compliance
  • Serve as the main contact for Paychex system administration, troubleshooting, and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and benefits regulations
  • Partner with HR and finance to reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits in a timely manner
  • Prepare reports for management and support audits as needed
  • Recommend process improvements for efficiency and compliance

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of payroll and benefits administration experience (required)
  • Demonstrated Paychex platform experience
  • Working knowledge of payroll and employee benefits regulations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
  • relevant certifications (e.g., CPP) a plus
