We are looking for a dedicated Payroll & Benefits Administrator to join our team in Chehalis, WA. This role involves managing payroll processes and overseeing employee benefits programs. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency while supporting employees with enrollment and benefits inquiries. This is an on-site position with an established company.
Job Responsibility:
Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Utilize PayCor to manage payroll operations, including electronic timecard approvals by supervisors
Administer employee benefits programs, including onboarding, enrollment, and terminations
Collaborate with the HR team to oversee open enrollment periods and employee benefits changes
Address employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits promptly and effectively
Maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions and benefits administration
Ensure strict adherence to wage and hour laws and payroll best practices
Provide ongoing updates and recommendations to improve payroll and benefits processes
Assist with additional accounting tasks as needed
Requirements:
Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing, preferably for 100-500 employees
Familiarity with multi-state payroll regulations and compliance
Proficiency in using PayCor or similar payroll software
Experience in benefits administration and employee onboarding
Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work on-site Monday through Friday in Chehalis, Washington
Nice to have:
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required
