We are looking for an experienced Payroll Associate Intermediate to join our client's team on a long-term contract basis in Westerville, Ohio. In this role, you will focus on payroll operations for a large workforce, leveraging your expertise in Oracle systems to ensure efficient and accurate payroll processing. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams while utilizing advanced tools to optimize payroll workflows and resolve system-related issues.
Job Responsibility:
Process and validate payroll operations using Oracle Payroll systems to ensure accuracy and compliance
Conduct automated reconciliations for data inputs and loads, ensuring the integrity of payroll data
Utilize tools such as Alteryx and Pega to streamline payroll processes and enhance system functionality
Generate detailed reports and resolve payroll-related issues using Oracle and BI queries
Provide technical and functional support for system-related challenges, ensuring timely problem resolution
Collaborate with various departments to gather requirements and design efficient workflow solutions
Stay updated on industry standards and best practices to continuously improve payroll operations
Analyze data lineage from transactions to disbursements to identify and implement preventative measures
Support the implementation of technical solutions to address operational disruptions
Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and maintain accurate documentation for audit purposes
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Extensive experience in payroll operations and Oracle Payroll systems
Proficiency in tools such as Oracle, BI queries, and data processing applications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address payroll and system-related issues
Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
High attention to detail and accuracy in payroll data management
Familiarity with customer service, accounts payable, and accounting functions
Experience with bank reconciliations, spreadsheets, and research analysis
