Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Associate Intermediate to join our client's team on a long-term contract basis in Westerville, Ohio. In this role, you will focus on payroll operations for a large workforce, leveraging your expertise in Oracle systems to ensure efficient and accurate payroll processing. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams while utilizing advanced tools to optimize payroll workflows and resolve system-related issues.

Job Responsibility:

  • Process and validate payroll operations using Oracle Payroll systems to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Conduct automated reconciliations for data inputs and loads, ensuring the integrity of payroll data
  • Utilize tools such as Alteryx and Pega to streamline payroll processes and enhance system functionality
  • Generate detailed reports and resolve payroll-related issues using Oracle and BI queries
  • Provide technical and functional support for system-related challenges, ensuring timely problem resolution
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather requirements and design efficient workflow solutions
  • Stay updated on industry standards and best practices to continuously improve payroll operations
  • Analyze data lineage from transactions to disbursements to identify and implement preventative measures
  • Support the implementation of technical solutions to address operational disruptions
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and maintain accurate documentation for audit purposes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Extensive experience in payroll operations and Oracle Payroll systems
  • Proficiency in tools such as Oracle, BI queries, and data processing applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address payroll and system-related issues
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in payroll data management
  • Familiarity with customer service, accounts payable, and accounting functions
  • Experience with bank reconciliations, spreadsheets, and research analysis
