Job Responsibility

  • Process bi-weekly payroll accurately by reviewing employee time records, earnings, and required deductions before final submission
  • Examine timesheets and attendance data to identify discrepancies, follow up on missing information, and ensure payroll records are complete
  • Support payroll administration within ADP and related timekeeping systems to maintain reliable employee pay information
  • Reconcile payroll totals against supporting records and resolve variances involving wages, garnishments, and other withholdings
  • Handle payroll-related adjustments connected to child support orders and other mandated deductions in accordance with policy
  • Maintain organized payroll files, reports, and supporting documentation to ensure records are current and accessible
  • Assist with expense reporting review and coordinate payroll-related entries that may affect employee compensation records
  • Contribute to budgeting and payroll tracking activities by preparing data and supporting routine reporting needs

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in payroll support, payroll administration, or a closely related accounting function
  • Working knowledge of payroll processing, including bi-weekly payroll cycles, reconciliations, and timesheet review
  • Experience using ADP payroll systems and timekeeping platforms such as Workforce Time & Attendance
  • Familiarity with payroll deductions, including garnishments, child support, and other required withholdings
  • Ability to maintain accurate records, manage payroll files, and handle sensitive employee information confidentially
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies and follow through on corrections promptly
  • Proficiency in reviewing employee timesheets, timeslips, and related payroll documentation
  • Comfortable supporting payroll reporting, expense-related reviews, and basic budget tracking activities
