Job Description

We are looking for a Payroll & People Operations Specialist to support our growing team and enhance the employee experience, ensuring our teams across the US and Canada are supported with accuracy and care. You will own the payroll lifecycle for ~130 talented individuals across North America, serving as our go-to expert for compliance, total rewards, and people analytics.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead semi-monthly payroll across the US and Canada (ADP TotalSource, TriNet, and local agencies)
  • serve as superuser for BambooHR and ADP TotalSource
  • navigate complexities of FLSA classifications, I-9/E-Verify, and multi-state leave laws
  • design and maintain People Analytics Dashboards
  • benchmark salary bands and manage 401(k) matches and Canadian T2220 forms

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience (ideally with ADP TotalSource)
  • firm grasp of US labor laws (FLSA, FMLA)
  • comfortable navigating international (Canadian) payroll
  • pivot tables and data reconciliation
  • zero-error mindset
  • ability to explain complex payroll or benefit terminology
  • thrive in fast-paced international environments
  • enjoy partnering with Finance and HR teams

Nice to have

  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC)
