As a Payroll and HR Services Officer, you’ll join a global leader in mining equipment solutions, taking charge of payroll delivery and HR operations across Australia.
Job Responsibility:
Processing weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls
Managing time and attendance systems
Ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll outcomes
Leading system updates and troubleshooting issues
Supporting team leaders in maintaining clean, auditable records
Maintaining and reconciling payroll data aligned to awards, site agreements, and legislation
Conducting payroll audits and preparing reports
Managing payroll mailboxes, actioning and escalating queries
Preparing employee letters (e.g., position changes)
Collaborating with HR and Finance teams to improve processes
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in Australian payroll, ideally using ADP and Kronos
Sound knowledge of time & attendance, pay awards, and local compliance
Strong organisation, problem-solving, and documentation skills
Nice to have:
Post-secondary education in accounting, payroll, or HR is a plus, but not required
Experience in processing multi-location payroll operations
Strong background in working with complex payrolls
Experience with payroll systems, including time and attendance (preferably ADP and UKG/Kronos)
Experience and ease with Microsoft products (Excel and Word)
