Payroll and Benefits Specialist

• Ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees
• Administering employee benefits programs
• Maintaining payroll records
• Calculating wages and deductions
• Resolving discrepancies
• Serving as a point of contact for employee questions related to payroll and benefits
• Supporting compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Assisting with audits and reporting as needed

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in payroll processing and benefits administration
• Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Workday) and Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and tax regulations
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
