Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll and Benefits Specialist for a contract assignment with our client, a reputable company located near Warsaw, Indiana. This position offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the efficient management of payroll and employee benefits processes during a critical period.

Job Responsibility:

Accurately process payroll for employees, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Manage employee benefits enrollment and administration, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company offerings
Resolve payroll discrepancies and address employee inquiries regarding compensation and benefits
Maintain and update employee records in HRIS systems with a high degree of confidentiality
Develop and generate payroll reports and benefit summaries for management review
Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless operations and compliance

Requirements:

Proven experience in payroll and benefits administration
Strong knowledge of employment laws and payroll procedures
Proficiency with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paylocity, Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Effective communication skills for handling sensitive information with professionalism
Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
