We are looking for a Payroll Analyst to join our team in Greensboro, North Carolina. This role is essential in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for a workforce of over 2,300 employees across multiple operating companies. Job Responsibility:
Process weekly payroll for both hourly and salaried employees across multiple operating companies
Manage garnishments, commissions, and other payroll adjustments with precision and compliance
Assist with audits to ensure payroll records meet regulatory standards and internal policies
Utilize intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions, to analyze payroll data effectively
Collaborate with the payroll supervisor and team members to maintain smooth payroll operations
Support the transition to Workday payroll systems, contributing to implementation planning and execution
Handle multi-state payroll processing with adherence to varying state-specific regulations
Maintain accurate records of payroll taxes and deductions
Ensure timely submission of payroll reports and documentation to relevant stakeholders
Address employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and provide thorough and accurate resolutions
Requirements:
Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing for large employee groups, preferably over 500 employees
Proficiency in multi-state payroll and a strong understanding of state-specific regulations
Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems
Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
Strong analytical skills with an ability to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies
Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and employees
Familiarity with payroll taxes, deductions, and compliance requirements
Ability to work onsite initially, with potential for hybrid scheduling after onboarding
