Payroll Analyst

• Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of employee wages and adherence to legal requirements
• Conduct detailed audits of payroll data and reports to identify discrepancies and resolve errors
• Manage time entry processes to guarantee accurate and timely payment for all employees
• Process off-cycle checks, terminations, and adjustments in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare reports, including W-2s, 941s, and workers' compensation liabilities
• Perform complex calculations such as retroactive pay adjustments and final termination payments
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to improve payroll processes and internal controls
• Stay updated on changes in payroll tax laws, benefits regulations, and compliance requirements
• Assist employees with payroll-related inquiries, maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
• Support special projects, system upgrades, and testing as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing within a high-volume environment
• In-depth knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and tax compliance
• Proficiency in payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, or Dayforce
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data reporting tools
• Strong analytical capabilities and exceptional attention to detail
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and addressing employee concerns
• Certification in payroll or auditing is a plus.
