We’re looking for a Payroll Analyst to support our U.S. payroll operations and help ensure every pay cycle is accurate, compliant, and on time. This role reports to the Global Payroll Lead and is based in San Francisco. In addition to supporting U.S. payroll, you’ll be introduced to our global payroll processes and will learn how we work with our global payroll provider in EMEA and Latam.
Job Responsibility:
Support end-to-end U.S. payroll processing activities each pay period, including validations and coordination of inputs
Audit payroll changes (new hires, terminations, leaves, salary changes, variable pay, deductions) to ensure accuracy
Help resolve payroll issues and employee questions in a timely, clear, and confidential manner
Run payroll reports and perform reconciliations (register validations, deductions, taxes, benefits, and other audits as needed)
Maintain and improve payroll documentation, checklists, and control processes
Partner with People Ops, Rev Ops, Finance, and Benefits partners to ensure data integrity across systems
Learn and support global payroll workflows and the global payroll provider process (data inputs, reporting, and issue resolution)
Requirements:
Experience supporting U.S. payroll operations (payroll processing support, audits, or reconciliations)
Working knowledge of core payroll concepts: earnings, deductions, taxation, garnishments, and benefits
Comfort with multi-state payroll considerations and compliance sensitivity
Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills (lookups, pivots, data validation) and strong attention to detail
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Clear communication skills and a customer-service mindset when supporting employees
Eagerness to learn global payroll processes and new systems
