We’re seeking an experienced Payroll Advisor to join a growing team supporting over 200 employees. This is a newly created, permanent role offering stability, meaningful work, and an opportunity to be part of a highly engaged and supportive team.
Job Responsibility:
Process semi-monthly payroll (and off-cycle payrolls when needed)
Manage employee changes, new hires, and terminations within the HRIS (UKG)
Reconcile payroll accounts and ensure timely remittances to the CRA
Administer benefits and pension plans
Prepare T4s, ROEs, and other year-end documents
Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records
Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies
Partner closely with HR and Payroll team members to improve processes
Provide excellent internal customer service and respond to employee inquiries
Requirements:
3–5 years of payroll experience
PCP or CPM certification (National Payroll Institute)
Strong technical skills in HRIS systems
Experience with UKG is a plus
Experience with benefits administration and defined benefit pension plans
