As a Payroll Administrator, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time while supporting smooth payroll operations across the business. You’ll work closely with the Payroll Manager and contribute to reliable, compliant payroll delivery.
Job Responsibility
Monitor the payroll inbox and respond to employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Review and approve pending changes in the payroll system
Process employee transfers, position changes, and new hire entries
Initiate and maintain direct deposit administration
Complete verbal and written employment verifications
Perform pay, bonus, and paid time off calculations
Track, audit, and reconcile timesheets and timekeeping data
Support payroll tax compliance, deposits, and reporting, including W‑2 administration
Manage garnishments, levies, and unemployment claims
Conduct payroll reconciliations and assist with e‑filing employment taxes
Sort mail, maintain payroll files, and support documentation accuracy
Assist the Payroll Manager with payroll processing duties as required

Requirements
1–3 years of related payroll or payroll administration experience
Experience with payroll software and payroll data entry
Knowledge of payroll tax reporting, deposits, and compliance
Familiarity with timekeeping systems and timesheet auditing
Experience handling employee payroll inquiries and research
Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively on moderately complex tasks
