We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to oversee accurate and timely payroll processing for a multi-state employee population. This position supports end-to-end payroll operations, maintains compliance with applicable wage and tax regulations, and works closely with internal partners to resolve payroll matters efficiently. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with ADP Workforce Now and can manage payroll activities with precision, confidentiality, and a service-focused approach.
Job Responsibility
Administer complete payroll processing for employees across multiple states, ensuring each pay cycle is delivered accurately and on schedule
Review earnings, deductions, taxes, and adjustments to confirm payroll data is correct before final submission
Maintain employee payroll records in ADP Workforce Now and update changes related to compensation, direct deposit, tax withholding, and other pay-related details
Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, employee questions, and payment issues in a timely and thorough manner
Support compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations by applying current requirements and maintaining proper documentation
Reconcile payroll reports and related records to verify accuracy and assist with audits, reporting, and period-end activities
Partner with HR, finance, and other internal teams to coordinate payroll inputs and improve overall payroll administration processes
Requirements
Proven experience managing full-cycle payroll administration from data review through final payroll completion
Hands-on background processing payroll for a workforce of approximately 101 to 500 employees
Working knowledge of multi-state payroll practices, including tax and compliance considerations
Experience using ADP Workforce Now for payroll processing and employee payroll record maintenance
Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle confidential information responsibly
Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve payroll issues efficiently
Effective communication skills for collaborating with employees and cross-functional stakeholders
