We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to support accurate and timely payroll operations for a growing organization in Bloomington, Minnesota. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, comfortable handling sensitive information, and able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment. The role requires strong administrative capability, attention to detail, and confidence using payroll and office systems to keep processes running smoothly.
Job Responsibility
Process payroll activities with accuracy and timeliness while helping maintain complete and up-to-date employee compensation records
Review payroll data for inconsistencies, resolve discrepancies, and support compliance with applicable tax and reporting requirements
Use payroll and office software to enter, track, and manage information related to employee pay, deductions, and updates
Coordinate with internal team members to respond to payroll questions and provide administrative support connected to payroll operations
Maintain confidentiality when handling employee records, compensation details, and other sensitive business information
Organize workload effectively, manage competing deadlines, and adapt to interruptions without compromising quality or accuracy
Assist with payroll-related documentation, reporting, and routine administrative tasks that support department efficiency
Requirements
One to three years of administrative experience in an office environment with a strong focus on detail
Strong ability to manage multiple responsibilities at once while maintaining close attention to detail
Advanced proficiency with common office technology and Microsoft Office applications
Familiarity with payroll platforms is preferred, including tools such as Paylocity or Microsoft Dynamics SL
Ability to stay organized, prioritize effectively, and handle confidential information with sound judgment
Capable of working independently while also contributing collaboratively within a team setting
Basic knowledge of payroll taxes and payroll tax reporting is preferred
Experience in a home health agency environment is considered an advantage
Nice to have
