Job Description:

We are on the search for a Payroll Administrator to become a valuable part of our team based in Charleston, South Carolina. In this role, you will be the primary individual for handling payroll for multiple entities and will be reporting directly to the CFO. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage payroll for a large number of hourly employees, utilizing Paylocity in a single state operation.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the processing of payroll for over 400 employees utilizing Paylocity
Handle payroll functions for multiple entities within the organization
Act as the lead in all payroll-related activities and operations
Report directly to the CFO, providing regular updates and reports
Ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates
Utilize accounting software systems to streamline payroll procedures
Administer benefits including 401k - RRSP
Perform accounting functions as necessary
Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
Manage any inquiries or issues related to payroll

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role
Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration
Familiarity with 'About Time' software system
In-depth knowledge of Accounting Functions
Proven experience in Auditing
Understanding of Benefit Functions
Experience with Paylocity software is a plus
