We are looking for a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team on a long-term contract basis in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. This role involves overseeing payroll operations for both corporate and field employees, ensuring compliance across multiple states while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate expertise in payroll systems and processes.
Job Responsibility:
Process bi-weekly payroll for corporate staff and field employees, ensuring accurate and timely completion
Manage multistate payroll operations, adhering to local tax regulations and compliance standards
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine payroll process documentation
Address payroll-related queries and provide prompt resolution for employee concerns
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations related to payroll
Monitor and audit payroll transactions to identify and correct discrepancies
Support payroll reporting and analysis for internal stakeholders
Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency
Stay updated on payroll regulations and best practices to maintain compliance
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing, including multistate payroll
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage payroll data accurately
Knowledge of multistate payroll laws and regulations
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teams and addressing employee inquiries
Nice to have:
Familiarity with payroll operations within the construction industry is a plus
