We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will manage payroll processes for both hourly and salaried employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with multi-state regulations. Job Responsibility:
Process payroll for hourly and salaried employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Manage multi-state payroll operations in compliance with local regulations
Maintain and update payroll records, including employee benefits and deductions
Reconcile payroll-related accounts and ensure alignment with the general ledger
Utilize UKG Pro to streamline payroll processes and reporting
Address payroll inquiries and provide clear communication to employees regarding payroll matters
Collaborate with HR to align payroll processes with employee benefits and organizational policies
Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve discrepancies in payroll data
Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and relevant authorities as required
Stay informed about changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in full-cycle payroll processing
Proven expertise in handling multi-state payroll operations
Experience managing payroll for organizations with 101-500 employees
Proficiency in UKG Pro or similar payroll software
Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to analyze and reconcile payroll-related accounts
Effective communication skills for interacting with employees and management
