Job Description:

Join our team as a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator in Plainview, New York. Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and teamwork across departments.

Job Responsibility:

Coordinate payroll processing activities, ensuring smooth workflows and timely execution
Manage employee data, including onboarding new team members, processing changes, and handling terminations for various employee categories
Audit timekeeping records to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulations
Maintain and reconcile employee payroll records, resolving discrepancies as needed
Calculate and process payments for short-term disability, paid family leave, overtime, and other special payments
Handle payroll adjustments, manual checks, and stop payment requests as required
Prepare and generate detailed reports using Excel and other payroll reporting tools for internal use
Administer wage garnishments, including online child support payments, and process credit union deductions

Requirements:

Proven experience in payroll administration
Proficiency with payroll systems
Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, wage garnishments, and tax compliance
Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools
Familiarity with automated time and attendance systems
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail
Ability to handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality and professionalism
Effective communication skills to address employee inquiries and collaborate with multiple departments
