Job Description:

We are looking for a meticulous Payroll Administrator to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a vital role in ensuring payroll processes are executed accurately and efficiently, while adhering to relevant regulations and company policies. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with expertise in payroll systems and multi-state payroll management.

Job Responsibility:

Address employee inquiries related to payroll matters, including expense reimbursements as applicable
Generate and provide payroll and financial reports, such as general ledger data, while responding to internal requests
Stay informed about local laws and regulations affecting payroll, benefits, and expense management
Oversee the entire payroll process, including documentation, accurate entries, deductions, tax reporting, and timely payments
Communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders to ensure clarity and resolution of payroll-related issues
Maintain a highly organized workflow to independently meet deadlines and manage payroll operations efficiently
Apply strong knowledge of payroll regulations and experience with payroll, benefits, and HR systems to improve processes
Utilize advanced numeracy skills and proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications to support payroll activities

Requirements:

Demonstrated expertise in full-cycle payroll management
Experience managing payroll across multiple states
Proven ability to handle payroll for employee groups ranging from 101 to 500 individuals
Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now for payroll processing
Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Effective communication skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications and related tools
