We are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team in Jericho, New York. This position offers a hybrid work environment and requires someone who is detail oriented with a strong background in payroll processes and systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing payroll for large employee groups and be proficient in using Workday.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee full-cycle payroll processing for a workforce of up to 1,000 employees
Ensure compliance with multi-state payroll regulations and tax requirements
Utilize Workday to manage payroll operations effectively and efficiently
Maintain accurate payroll records and handle audits or discrepancies in a timely manner
Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure seamless payroll integration
Monitor and implement changes to payroll policies in accordance with legal standards
Address employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns
Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to management
Conduct regular reviews of payroll systems to identify and resolve inefficiencies
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll administration
Proficiency in full-cycle payroll processing, including multi-state payroll
Demonstrated ability to manage payroll for large groups, preferably up to 1,000 employees
Strong experience with Workday payroll systems
Knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and tax compliance standards
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments
