We are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our growing remote payroll team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented payroll professional based in South Africa who has experience processing UK payrolls and enjoys working with multiple clients in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring compliance with UK legislation, meeting deadlines, and maintaining excellent client relationships.
Job Responsibility:
End-to-end processing of multiple UK payrolls
Accurate calculation and payment of salaries, statutory pay, and allowances
Submission of all statutory filings including FPS, EPS, P45s, P60s, Starter Declarations, and End of Year submissions
Ensuring payrolls are compliant with UK legislation and HMRC deadlines
Completion of month-end and year-end payroll processes
Responding to client payroll queries in a professional and timely manner
Maintaining accurate payroll records and documentation
Supporting ad hoc payroll-related projects as requested by the Payroll Services Manager
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator, ideally managing multiple payrolls
Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and compliance
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Confident working independently in a remote environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working to deadlines and managing competing priorities
Calm, professional, and solutions-focused under pressure
Payroll experience is essential
UK payroll experience highly advantageous
Strong computer literacy, including: Payroll software, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel (intermediate level), Microsoft Teams
