Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team in Somerset, New Jersey. This is a contract position within the manufacturing industry, where you will play a key role in managing payroll operations for employees across multiple states. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing and a keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Job Responsibility:

Manage the full payroll cycle for employees, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments
Administer multi-state payroll operations, adhering to state-specific regulations and compliance requirements
Utilize ADP Workforce Now to maintain payroll records and execute payroll tasks efficiently
Collaborate with HR and finance teams to address payroll discrepancies and resolve employee inquiries
Prepare and review payroll reports for audits, reconciliations, and management purposes
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
Handle payroll for a workforce ranging from 101-500 employees, ensuring all records are up-to-date
Maintain confidentiality of payroll information and employee data
Support year-end payroll activities, including tax filings and W-2 preparation
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll operations

Requirements:

Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing
Expertise in managing multi-state payroll operations
Proficiency in Isolved or related software
Familiarity with payroll regulations and compliance standards
Ability to handle payroll for medium-sized organizations (101-500 employees)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly
