We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Administrator to join our team in Sacramento, California. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for a multi-state workforce. Job Responsibility:
Process full-cycle payroll for employees across multiple states, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Manage payroll for a workforce of up to 500 employees using ADP Workforce Now and Paylocity systems
Address workers' compensation matters and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with HR to support administrative functions and employee-related needs
Translate and communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking employees, ensuring clarity and understanding
Maintain and update payroll information within HRIS systems
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
Generate and review payroll reports to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions
Provide assistance in resolving payroll-related inquiries from employees
Support the team in fostering a detail-oriented and organized office environment
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in payroll or HR administration
Proficiency in processing payroll for multi-state operations
Experience with ADP Workforce Now and/or Paylocity systems
Bilingual in Spanish and English, with strong translation and communication skills
Familiarity with payroll regulations and compliance standards
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience with HRIS systems or related human resources software
