We are looking for a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky. This role involves managing payroll operations, ensuring compliance with policies, and supporting administrative functions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in payroll systems and a strong understanding of employee benefits and labor regulations.
Job Responsibility:
Process weekly payroll for hourly employees using the designated payroll system
Maintain and oversee the electronic timekeeping system to ensure accuracy and compliance
Update and monitor attendance records, generating reports as needed
Reconcile payroll deductions and issue manual checks when required
Ensure compliance with attendance policies, disability plans, and Family Medical Leave regulations
Track vacation time and monitor employee absences
Handle job verifications and complete payroll-related documentation
Maintain payroll, personnel, and attendance files in an organized manner
Coordinate benefits administration and assist employees with payroll-related inquiries
Support managers by providing reports and assisting with administrative tasks
Requirements:
Proven experience processing payroll for organizations with 101-500 employees
Proficiency in using UKG Pro or similar payroll systems
Familiarity with union payroll processes and regulations
Strong knowledge of benefits administration practices
Ability to interpret and comply with labor laws and company policies
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills to address employee inquiries and support management
Experience in managing employee relations programs and events
