In this a contract role, the individual will process payroll for a multi-state workforce, ensuring compliance with payroll laws and regulations. This is a long-term contract position ideal for a motivated individual with a customer service mindset and strong attention to detail.
Job Responsibility:
Process bi-weekly payroll for employees in multiple states, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Manage garnishments and other payroll-related deductions efficiently
Address payroll inquiries with a customer-focused approach, providing timely and accurate resolutions
Collaborate on payroll-related projects and tasks as assigned
Utilize ADP Workforce Now and other payroll systems to manage time and attendance data
Ensure adherence to payroll laws and regulations across various states
Maintain detailed and accurate payroll records to support audits and reporting
Apply problem-solving skills to navigate ambiguous situations and ensure smooth operations
Assist with tax-related payroll tasks, leveraging relevant experience
Work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience processing payroll for a multi-state workforce
Proficiency in full-cycle payroll management for organizations with 500+ employees
Experience with ADP Workforce Now and UKG Pro systems preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle complex payroll tasks
Self-motivated and reliable, with the ability to take initiative
Excellent customer service skills and ability to resolve payroll-related issues
Be proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software tools
