Payroll Administrator

• Process full-cycle payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
• Manage payroll taxes, including preparation and submission of required documentation
• Handle 401K contributions and related reporting to maintain proper records
• Prepare and record journal entries to support financial accuracy and transparency
• Collaborate with the accounting team to address payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance
• Work independently while contributing to team success through proactive communication and problem-solving
• Utilize accounting software and Microsoft Excel for payroll reporting and data management
• Support audits and reviews by providing necessary documentation and information
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within payroll operations

• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing full-cycle payroll processes
• Familiarity with payroll tax regulations and reporting requirements
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Experience in the construction or engineering industry is highly desirable
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred
• Knowledge of 401K administration and journal entry preparation
• Self-motivated and proactive approach to managing responsibilities
