The Part-Time Seasonal Payroll Administrative Assistant supports the Payroll and HR teams during the baseball season and other major events at Oracle Park. This role is responsible for assisting with payroll processing, maintaining employee records, and ensuring accurate and timely compensation for a large, seasonal workforce. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
Job Responsibility:
Assist with processing weekly payroll for seasonal and part-time employees, including game-day staff
Review and verify timekeeping records for accuracy and completeness
Address and help resolve payroll discrepancies, including missing punches, pay adjustments, and corrections
Support onboarding and offboarding processes related to payroll (e.g., tax forms, direct deposit setup)
Maintain accurate employee payroll records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
Assist with distribution of paychecks or direct deposit confirmations
Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a professional and timely manner
Prepare reports, audits, and payroll documentation as needed
Support compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations
Provide administrative support to HR and Payroll teams during high-volume periods, including game days and special events
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous administrative, payroll, or HR experience strongly preferred
Experience with timekeeping or payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, Kronos, ABIMM) is a plus
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Nice to have:
Experience with timekeeping or payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, Kronos, ABIMM) is a plus
