Job Description

We are looking for a Payroll Administrative Assistant to support payroll operations and ensure accurate recordkeeping. This role is ideal for someone early in their payroll or HR career who enjoys working with data, staying organized, and supporting compliance processes. You’ll assist the payroll team with data entry, audits, and employee support while gaining exposure to payroll systems and procedures.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist with payroll data entry, timecard review, and updates
  • Maintain accurate employee payroll records and documentation
  • Support payroll processing by verifying hours, pay rates, and deductions
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, timekeeping, and deductions
  • Assist with payroll audits and reporting
  • Help track compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance teams on payroll-related matters
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll information

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of administrative, payroll, or HR support experience
  • Basic understanding of payroll processes and timekeeping
  • Experience with payroll or timekeeping systems (ADP, Paychex, or similar preferred)
  • Microsoft Excel: data entry, basic formulas (required)
  • Strong computer and data entry skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle repetitive tasks with consistency
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
