Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Admin to join our team on a contract basis in Miramar, Florida. In this role, you will oversee payroll processing for corporate employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

Job Responsibility

  • Verify and adjust weekly employee hours to ensure accurate payroll processing
  • Handle manual salary adjustments, including vacation payouts and other compensation changes
  • Manage and execute various bonus and salary programs effectively
  • Calculate and process sales commissions in a timely manner
  • Process ad hoc payment transactions, such as payment-in-kind arrangements
  • Transmit payroll data to the shared services department accurately and on time
  • Conduct audits of weekly payroll to confirm accuracy and resolve discrepancies
  • Address and resolve inquiries from employees regarding gross-to-net pay calculations
  • Generate and analyze ad hoc reports as required to support payroll operations
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to address payroll-related issues and complete assigned projects

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of experience processing payroll for multi-state employees
  • Solid understanding of payroll processes, including hours recording, deductions, and tax calculations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word to manage payroll data effectively
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills to resolve payroll-related concerns
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and financial principles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
