Job Description:

Supporting a business spanning 23 countries, with revenues well over €0.8Bn (and growing) and a strong track record of software development, this role sits at the center of our accounting function to deliver quality operation of our payroll processes and coordination of our accounting controls.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conducting monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing activities within relevant deadlines
  • Coordination and support for monthly reconciliation activities globally, including expert analysis and data management, analyzing discrepancies, and coordinating with global accounting to resolve issues
  • Assisting in the preparation of year-end statutory accounts and, in specific, payroll related disclosures
  • Supporting the external audit process and preparation of audit deliverables
  • Driving process improvement and automation to reduce manual effort
  • Collaborating with global accounting teams to identify opportunities for enhanced standardization
  • Work on ad hoc projects as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or economics
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with an emphasis on accounting and financial reporting, preferably gained within a Big Four firm and / or a multinational organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of IFRS or other accounting frameworks
  • Fluent in dealing with, analyzing and solving problems in large datasets such as system extracts
  • Must be comfortable working in cross-functional teams and in a fast-paced company
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines under pressure, while maintaining close attention to details

Nice to have:

  • ACCA, CPA, or equivalent certification
  • Knowledge in SAP S/4 Hana Fiori app
