Payroll Accountant

• Manage end-to-end biweekly payroll processing for approximately 125 employees across multiple pay structures
• Enter, upload, and maintain payroll information within Paycor and verify data is complete and accurate before each payroll cycle
• Review payroll records to confirm proper earnings, deductions, taxes, and other employee-specific changes are reflected correctly
• Coordinate with the finance team to prepare payroll reports, support account reconciliations, and address payroll-related questions
• Monitor payroll activities to help maintain compliance with applicable policies, regulations, and processing deadlines
• Assist with related accounting duties and provide administrative support connected to payroll operations as needed

• Background in finance, accounting, or a related discipline with a strong interest in payroll administration
• Experience handling full-cycle payroll in a fast-paced business environment
• Familiarity with payroll platforms such as Paycor and exposure to ADP Workforce Now is preferred
• Understanding of multi-state payroll practices and payroll tax reporting requirements
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to organize information and manage multiple payroll elements efficiently
• Ownership mindset with a genuine interest in payroll accuracy, consistency, and timely execution
