You will own the end-to-end data architecture, defining the extraction strategies and migration controls required to move massive datasets without ever disrupting live payment processing. Acting as the technical authority, you will navigate complex legacy environments, reconciling undocumented system behaviours with pragmatic, executable design solutions.

Requirements:
UK Payment Rails: Expert-level BACS & Faster Payments (FPS)
Global Messaging: SWIFT & SEPA mastery, including ISO 20022 (MT/MX)
Mainframe Core: IBM DB2 specialist (Query Optimisation, Partitioning, Archiving)
Data Migration: Hands-on Extraction, Mapping, and Lineage for high-throughput systems
Risk & Governance: CASS or CISA-aligned assurance and control frameworks
Legacy Modernisation: Bridging MQ/Mainframe layers to modern target platforms
