Job Responsibility

  • The preparation, checking and release of client, investor and supplier payments in multiple currencies using various payment methods
  • Liaising with agent banks through dedicated relationship managers ensuring all requests are processed in a timely manner
  • Ensuring all operational activities are completed with SLAs within a robust control environment managing any risks
  • Accurately recording all time spent dealing with client matters to ensure clients are correctly invoiced
  • Reviewing operational processes and controls, proactively identifying and highlighting any risks or weaknesses and driving improvements as appropriate
  • Pro-actively taking on additional responsibilities and administrational tasks as required by your managers or clients, including project work from initial scoping to delivery into the team
  • Support management by monitoring service delivery and performance of the team, identifying knowledge gaps or changes that will improve client satisfaction and organizational efficiency
  • Support periodic and ad-hoc reporting for management and stakeholders
  • Monitoring of the team email mailboxes and assisting to resolve queries

Requirements

  • Degree level educated in a relevant area such Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • Experience in payments would be preferred
  • Supervisory and/or team management experience would be beneficial
  • Project or change management experience, and in particular, an interest in automation activities would be desirable
  • Advanced knowledge of MS office package would be considered an advantage
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), organized and flexible
  • You possess team spirit with the ability to work independently using your own initiative when appropriate
  • Intellectual curiosity and a problem-solving mindset
  • Ambitious with a high level of energy and commitment and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet a range of deadlines

  • Guide and independently challenge Sanctions Product & Tech on model ownership and system implementations, while providing proactive guidance, process alignment, and training to 1st Line Screening teams
