Job Description:

Spring by Citi is our merchant acquiring and digital payments acceptance solution that unlocks new business value for multinational eCommerce companies. In this role, you will help design solutions, work with enterprise clients to provide end-to-end support, and shape product strategies in a fast-growing, competitive market. You will collaborate with global stakeholders to drive client consultations and implementations while leveraging your expertise in payments, APIs, and risk management.

Job Responsibility:

Driving Citi’s position as advisor to key business and technical stakeholders through leading technical discussions with prospective clients on end-to-end solutions
serving as Spring by Citi and merchant acquiring subject matter expert, supporting eCommerce deal teams to identify and win new complex opportunities
conducting business analysis and research on industry trends and key players in the eCommerce ecosystem
understanding a client’s technical challenges and designing creative approaches to simplify their access to Citi’s solutions
providing technical advisory to existing clients to expand Citi’s footprint and wallet share
incorporating technical solutioning into the client implementation process for seamless client onboarding
communicating client feedback to the Spring by Citi business team to shape product strategy and roadmap.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years' work experience in the payments/merchant acquiring industry, ideally with a strong understanding of consumer payments, payment gateway technology, APIs, card acquiring, eWallets, and the surrounding ecosystems
deep understanding of API architectures and software development/strategy
experience and understanding of merchants’ current and evolving consumer payment needs
strong interpersonal skills, including presentation skills, with ability to design innovative and tailored solutions working across financial and commercial buying centers
appreciation of payments risk dynamics and the value of compliance risk management
proven track record of operating independently and taking initiative with internal and external audiences
openness to change.

Nice to have:

Degree in engineering or related disciplines
a background in writing code
extreme attention to detail and interest in operating in a multifaceted, fast-paced environment.
