Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Analyst to join our Payments Risk Operations team. This role is ideal for professionals who excel at navigating complex cases, managing high-stakes long-term projects, and balancing compliance requirements with a customer-centric mindset. In this role you will be contributing to our sustainable business growth, ensuring that both Adyen and its customers remain aligned with Payment Networks’ regulations and our internal risk appetite. You will act as a strategic partner to our global customers, educating them on compliance landscapes while proactively identifying and mitigating emerging threats across the full payment ecosystem.

Job Responsibility

  • Work across both the acquiring and issuing domains, applying network rules and risk principles holistically to support end-to-end payment flows
  • Take ownership of risk mitigation by championing a proactive risk culture within the first line of defense
  • Stay up to date on Payment Network requirements and Adyen’s product evolution
  • Translate updates into operational strategies and provide expert guidance to both customers and internal stakeholders
  • Design and implement scalable processes to monitor our customers’ portfolio
  • Systematically drive process improvements to ensure that high-quality outcomes and risk mitigation scale alongside our business growth
  • Manage non-compliance notifications from networks by collaborating with customers, Account Management, Product and Partnerships teams
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to establish risk strategies that support our global expansion and long-term business goals
  • Act as a subject matter expert on PCI DSS
  • Manage data security incidents from a scheme perspective and handle complex inquiries
  • Navigate the global payment landscape by deeply understanding our technical infrastructure and how complex products interact
