Job Description

As a Payments Monitoring and Analysis Specialist at myPOS, you will monitor payment flows, analyse operational data, and support reporting, quality assurance, and risk activities across multiple payment channels. You will help ensure accurate and efficient payment operations by investigating issues, maintaining reporting frameworks, and supporting data-driven decision-making. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and continuously improve payment processes.

Job Responsibility

  • Monitor payment transactions and resolve pending or rejected payments
  • Investigate operational issues and perform necessary manual actions
  • Maintain tracking logs and ensure accurate documentation
  • Support virtual account configuration and data consistency
  • Prepare reports on payment activity, performance, and KPIs
  • Analyse data to identify trends, anomalies, and improvements
  • Conduct quality assurance checks and validate transaction details
  • Monitor risk indicators and support governance processes
  • Manage and follow up on issue tickets with internal teams
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve processes and efficiency

Requirements

  • University degree in Economics, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex datasets, identify trends, and detect anomalies in operational data
  • Experience working with data analysis and reporting tools will be considered an advantage, particularly: Power BI, including the creation of reports and dashboards and working with DAX formulas
  • SQL for querying and analysing datasets
  • Excel automation, including VBA macros or scripts for data processing and reporting
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, including working with large datasets, pivot tables, formulas, and analytical functions
  • Understanding of international payment systems such as SWIFT, SEPA, SEPA Instant, Faster Payments, or SEPA Direct Debit will be considered an advantage
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workload, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work both independently and cross-functionally with different teams
  • Very good command of written and spoken English
  • A proactive and detail-oriented professional with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
