Payments Products is a part of the Services Organization at Citi. We enable our clients to pay and receive payments globally to support their commercial and treasury needs. This role is part of the Domestic Payments team in North America (NAM) directly covering Banking as a Service (BaaS) products including the Account Manager Suite (AMS) solution. As a BaaS Product Lead, the individual will be responsible for leading the development and management of BaaS products with a focus on the Account Manager Suite (AMS) solution and providing cross-functional support for other initiatives with the BaaS team. This role demands a mix of product expertise, strategic thinking, and a collaborative mindset to deliver high-quality, compliant solutions in a dynamic environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work with NAM Head to set the strategic vision and multi-year product roadmap in tandem with Global Product and functional partners, including continued support and/or build out of the AMS offering under the US Transformation Book of Work
  • Collaborate with Technology and other partners to drive forward-looking infrastructure planning to support growth at scale for the AMS offering
  • Align with other Citi businesses that utilize the AMS product offering for consistency in management of State regulations and other requirements as needed
  • Act as a backup within the NAM BaaS team, stepping into lead or support key projects as needed
  • Act as a senior conduit for client / industry trends, market challenges, product development and client needs, both inbound and outbound
  • Communicate the BaaS strategic roadmap and value proposition clearly through meetings with clients, sales and coverage teams, partners and other industry participants as applicable
  • Collaborate with sales, Implementation and Service to build out client pipeline and help ensure wins are smoothly implemented
  • Build out and manage P&L to deliver Revenue, Expense and Net Income Plan that maximizes profitability and enables growth for both BaaS & LMS
  • Create annual financial plan and manage re-forecasting of targets in partnership with Finance. Conduct or participate in monthly and quarterly financial reviews
  • Optimize the pricing framework and price points for BaaS product
  • Collaborate with all Risk & Control functions, New Activity Committee (NAC), and other individuals as needed to maintain a pristine risk and control environment
  • Ensure a strong controls environment by optimizing risk/reward trade-off and adhering to all applicable laws and Citi policies in collaboration with Risk, Control, and Compliance partners

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/University degree
  • Master's degree preferred
  • 6+ years of related experience
  • Direct experience in end-to-end project delivery, preferably in product development, and knowledge of various analytical tools
  • Generation of reports and presentations for management
  • Ability to create business analysis, troubleshoot data quality issues, and conduct exploratory and descriptive analysis of business datasets
  • Project Management skills with experience leading large cross functional initiatives
  • Familiarity with product development methodologies
  • Intellectual curiosity, analytical and conceptual thinker
  • Proactively seeks and develops new opportunities
  • Attention to detail and process/analytic mindset
  • Ability to structure and break down problems, develop solutions, and to drive to results
