The Payment Consultant role involves engaging with clients throughout the project lifecycle, focusing on payments transformation. Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience in the payments domain, particularly with SEPA transactions. Job Responsibility
Interacting with business owners, product teams, product vendors, other applications owners, external customers and internal customers to identify requirements and deliver those within stipulated timelines
Responsible for actively participating in the High Level Business & Project Review Meetings for Payments system modernization/transformation
Interacting with business stakeholders for requirements gathering, analysis, documentation etc.
Work with the delivery / implementation teams to provide domain inputs and to ensure delivery and implementation of the proposed solution
Interacting with the technical team to ensure that the requirements are clear and well understood
Should be able to able to play catalyst role with project stakeholders
Document the Ops procedure and T&Cs for any regulatory changes
Requirements
3-5 years of experience in the payments domain
Experience with SEPA transactions
3+ years of Industry experience in Tier-1 IT organizations in BFSI domain with a focus on Payments Domain experience in SEPA Credit Transfer, SEPA Instant, SEPA Direct Debit, Payment Services Directive etc.
Good understanding of the global Payments Landscape, associated instruments (Direct Debits/Direct Credits) and key players for both Retail & Wholesale payments
5+ years of Payments experience
Experience of Business Readiness role for Payments transformation projects
Good communication skills with ability to lead domain discussions with BFSI customers
